XVII International Workshop on Deep-Inelastic Scattering and Related Subjects
DIS 2009, 26-30 April 2009, Madrid
DIS 2009 is the 17th in the series of annual workshops on
Deep-Inelastic
Scattering (DIS) and Related Subjects. The aim of these workshops is to
review the progress in the field of DIS and Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD)
and to lay the groundwork for future experiments.
Most recent results from HERA, JLab, RHIC, Tevatron and fixed-target
experiments as well as the status of the LHC experiments
and the relevant theoretical developments will be covered in plenary and
parallel sessions. DIS 2009 will be held
from the 26th to the 30th of April 2009 at the
"Palacio de Congresos" in
downtown Madrid and will be organised by the
High-Energy Physics group
of the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.
Working Group Meetings on the LHeC
On Saturday April 25th, 2009, preceeding the DIS 2009 workshop,
the LHeC physics and detector working groups will hold parallel
meetings at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.
Interested participants of the DIS 2009 workshop are encouraged
to take part.
