EDF Applications

Nuclear Energy Density Functional (EDF) methods can be applied to study a wide variety of problems:

  1. ➡ Global calculation of nuclear masses including beyond-mean-field-effects with interests in nuclear astrophysics.

  2. ➡ Evolution of the nuclear shape along isotopic/isotonic chains.

  3. ➡ Shape coexistence and/or shape mixing.

  4. ➡ Evolution of shell closures far from stability.
