MicrOMEGAs
MicrOMEGAs
is a package to calculate the relic density of a stable
massive particle in a generic model. It also
computes the rates for direct and indirect detection
of dark matter. The generation of the
squared matrix elements is done via
CalcHEP which
permits an easy extension to other models than
the MSSM. Because it is not intended as a
SUSY spectrum generator, in our implementation,
the whole spectrum is passed from SoftSusy through the
Supersymmetry
Les Houches Accord .
The current implementation of MicrOMEGAs in SuperBayeS
does not support yet dark matter direct and
indirect quantities computation.
In order to keep the MPI structure of SuperBayeS
we have done an MPI implementation of MicrOMEGAS.
The basic idea consists in creating temporary tagged
directories (tmp and results) and dynamic libraries
generated at run time, for each of the processors at work.
To those are added the node number and the rank of the processor
associated (ie. tmp_node_rank).
For single procesor scans the process ID associated
is added as suffix.
In this way we avoid interferences in the writing process.
For details on how CalcHEP works see the manual.
Once the scans have finished we recomend to remove all
of the temporary directories/files created through
make clean_micromegas_work in SB_root/source.
